For four generations the Maclean family has hand-baked their products in Scotland. Originally from the Western Isles, we now produce our indulgent Traditional Shortbreads and Luxury Biscuits together with our range of delicious Oatcakes at our modern bakery in Forres, centrally located between the Highland, Speyside, and Grampian regions of Scotland.
Their modern Bakery is BRC A Graded production facility. They still retain the values of installed in them by Ronald Campbell Maclean Snr. At Maclean’s we don’t do things the quickest or the cheapest ways but the right way.
Same goes for your enjoyment of our products. To get maximum pleasure from our shortbread don’t rush it, but eat it slowly so that it melts on your tongue and the natural flavours bring that special Maclean’s Highland Bakery tingle to your taste buds.
